The Challenge
Local business information can be scattered, making it harder to find the right service in the right settlement.
What I Built
I built a local business discovery platform with a browsable directory, business profiles and tools for owners to manage their presence.
Useful Features
- Island and settlement filtering
- Business profiles and claim requests
- Maps and location information
- Event capability and owner management tools
A Closer Look
- Owners can claim their listing
- A claim-request flow lets business owners ask to take control of an existing profile, rather than create a duplicate.
- Updates tied to location
- Businesses can prepare nearby posts with a chosen coverage area, helping people discover local offers and happenings.
- Listing management
- Owner tools bring profile updates, listing levels and search information into the same workspace.
My Role
I worked on the discovery experience, directory structure and the business-owner tools behind it.
